Zanzibar Gem

Zanzibar Gem is a very hardy plant Native to eastern Africa. With beautifully glossy sculptural upright leaves which are divided into a number of smaller leaflets the Zanzibar Gem is a compact plant ideal for the desktop and those dark corners where nothing will grow. The Zanzibar Gem will happily tolerate low water, low light and even artificial lighting and air conditioning.
This plant is an air purifier! The Zanzibar Gem eliminates; benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene and more. Locate your Zanzibar within 2m of your sitting or working zone for the most benefits.
Care: Will withstand most conditions. Water thoroughly and then allow top layer of soil to dry out between watering, avoid over watering. Water less frequently in winter and when the plant is growing in low light. Always allow water to drain from your pot before placing it back on its drip tray, your plant will hate soggy roots.
Keep leaves dust free by spritzing or wipe them down with a damp cloth, this keeps them looking lovely and able to photosynthesise.

NOTE: Although it is uncommon for pets to seek this plant out and munch on it, it is important to note this plant is toxic to cats and dogs. Also keep out of reach of small children.
