8 x Untreated, Heirloom Kitchen Herb Seeds for the gardening cook.

Growing from seed is simpler than most people expect. All of the herbs in this kit grow using the same basic principles, so you don’t need to learn something new for every variety. With light, water, and warmth in place, seeds naturally do what they’re designed to do.

Each variety has been carefully selected to offer a delicious mix of classic kitchen herbs that are easy and rewarding to grow. These choices deliver dependable flavour straight from your garden - from fragrant basil and parsley to zesty dill and thyme - and perform well in garden beds, raised planters, or pots on a sunny windowsill.

Every packet includes clear, easy-to-follow planting instructions to help you get started straight away.

Meet Our Kitchen Herbs
Below is a closer look at each kitchen herb in the kit and how it’s commonly used, from everyday cooking to flavourful finishing touches.

1. Basil – Genovese (x100)
Basil is a versatile kitchen staple with a sweet, aromatic flavour. Its tender leaves are perfect for pesto, pasta dishes, salads, and as a fresh garnish for soups and sauces.

2. Chives – Onion (x100)
Chives offer a mild, onion-like flavour that adds a gentle lift to salads, omelettes, baked potatoes, and creamy dips. Easy to grow and quick to regrow after cutting.

3. Coriander – Slow Bolt (x25)
Coriander delivers a fresh, citrusy flavour that’s widely used in salsas, curries, and Asian dishes. The leafy tops are commonly known as cilantro, while the plant also produces coriander seeds later in the season.

4. Dill – Bouquet (x80)
Dill has a distinctive, slightly tangy flavour and is commonly used with fish, potatoes, pickles, and creamy dressings. A fast-growing herb that’s best used fresh from the garden.

5. Oregano– Standard (x100)
Oregano has a bold, pungent flavour that’s essential in Italian and Mediterranean cooking. Ideal for pizza, pasta sauces, marinades, and roasted vegetables.

6. Parsley – Italian Flat Leaf (x100)
Parsley is a mild, versatile herb that adds freshness and colour to a wide range of dishes, including salads, soups, sauces, and grilled meats.

7. Sage – Common (x20)
Sage provides a robust, earthy flavour and pairs well with stuffing, butter sauces, roast vegetables, and hearty dishes. A hardy perennial once established.

8. Thyme – Winter (x300)
Thyme offers a subtle, slightly lemony flavour that works beautifully with roasted vegetables, grilled meats, and slow-cooked dishes. Low-growing and reliable in the garden.
